It's Angelina Jolie, at her ex's apartment, with a bottle of wine

Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: an actress says hi to her first husband, a celebrity couple decides to date long-distance, and Mary-Kate Olsen gets AirPods.
Now that the country is fully re-opening, what’s the first thing you’re going to do? If you’re Angelina Jolie, the answer to that question seems to be, “fly to New York to see Jonny Lee Miller.” The two were briefly married in the late ‘90s, and I guess they’ve stayed in touch: Jolie was photographed walking into Miller’s apartment building in Dumbo with a pricey bottle of wine last Friday night.
According to Page Six, Jolie “arrived at Miller’s home totally alone without so much as a bodyguard to see her inside.” She also was photographed leaving, three hours after she arrived, by herself. But once the photos were published, a Jolie source rushed to People to explain that one of Jolie’s kids, Knox, is friends with Miller’s kid, Buster, and they were hanging out that night, too.
As if to underline the claim that this was a friendly, family-oriented visit, Jolie showed up at Miller’s apartment again on Tuesday with one of her other children, Pax. (All seven of Jolie’s kids are reportedly in town with her.)
What does this mean? I don’t know, but I hope Jolie is having fun. According to Page Six, she just got a new tattoo! It’s a quote from Galileo: “Eppur si muove.” In English, that’s, “And so it moves.” The quote dates back to the 1600s when Galileo was forced to take back his claim that the Earth moves around the Sun. Here’s how Page Six describes the meaning: “The phrase served as his defiant assertion that the truth would one day prevail.”
So I guess this is about Brad Pitt.
Perhaps sensing that someone else was getting attention for a moment, the former baseball star Alex Rodriguez also turned up at a surprising apartment building this week. On Sunday, he was photographed leaving the downtown Manhattan building where the newly single Katie Holmes lives. Almost immediately, Holmes’s rep shut down any speculation about Rodriguez and Holmes together, telling Page Six, “They have never even met.”
Slam! A “source” close to A-Rod responded by explaining that he is looking at different apartments in the city. “He didn’t even realize it was Katie’s building — he’s never met her.”
Unfortunately, Holmes never met Rodriguez first. And on top of everything else, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are making out in public now.
Affleck’s very photogenic ex-girlfriend Ana de Armas has a new boyfriend, by the way. His name is Paul Boukadakis, and he’s a 37-year-old VP at Tinder. So… that’s nice. Page Six reports that he met de Armas through friends and that he splits his time between Austin and Santa Monica. So, again, that’s great.
Also in love: Irina Shayk and Kanye West. "Kanye is doing well,” a source told People this week. “He had a great trip to France with Irina. They will date long distance.”
Sounds like it’s all settled. It does appear that the two are living on separate coasts: This week, West was photographed wearing a bag over his head in L.A., and Shayk got papped wearing a vintage Britney Spears t-shirt in New York.
“Kanye loves that Irina is an established and respected model in the fashion community,” a source told Us Weekly this week. “He loves that she carries clout with the fashion world.” I’m sure that’s part of it!
