On Monday, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Justin Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds (as well as his defamation suit against The New York Times). Lively showed up to the Chanel dinner at the Tribeca Film Festival that night in an extra smiley mood:
Her attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb said in a statement to Page Six, “As we have said from day one, this ‘$400 million’ lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. No amount of spin, bluster, or creative accounting from Baldoni’s legal team will change the embarrassing reality staring them in the face: the plan to sue Blake Lively and her family into oblivion has been a complete and total failure.”
Of course, Baldoni’s outspoken attorney Bryan Freedman is freaking out
