Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars. Today, we have the first installment of a new, monthly-ish column just for paid subscribers called Dating History. In Dating History, we will explore the romantic past of some of the most interesting characters in the Gossip Time universe, starting with our second favorite 50-year-old bachelor (after Leo DiCaprio), Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper loves to have a girlfriend. Since he first rose to fame in the mid-aughts with roles in Wedding Crashers, Alias, and a forgotten but important one-season sitcom based on Anthony Bourdain’s Kitchen Confidential, he has pretty much always had a gal to bring to his premieres. (In the rare instances he has not, he has relied on his mom, Gloria Campano, who, you’ll see, is also very involved in his relationships.)

He has been married just once, to NCIS star Jennifer Esposito, for four short months at the beginning of his career. But now, at age 50, he is reportedly getting ready to wed again. What can we learn from his dating history? And what was up with those Lolita pap shots with Suki Waterhouse in 2013? Let’s discuss.

This was Cooper’s first high-profile relationship, and he was the less famous person in the couple at the time. He followed Esposito around on the awards circuit in 2006 (remember Crash?), and they married in a private ceremony in the South of France in December. By May 2007, however, Esposito filed for divorce.

According to my research, that is not actually Cooper’s passport; it’s an invitation to the 2006 premiere of Babel designed to look like a passport. We can glean from this photo, then, that Cooper was an invited guest.

She later alluded to the relationship in her 2014 memoir/advice book Jennifer’s Way: My Journey with Celiac Disease — What Doctors Don’t Tell You and How You Can Learn to Live Again:
