There comes a time when every former Disney star starts talking about what really happened behind the scenes. Unfortunately, that time has come for Cole Sprouse, the Sprouse twin who starred with his brother on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody in the mid-aughts and went on to play Jughead in Riverdale. (The other Sprouse twin, Dylan, is currently making mead in Williamsburg.) Cole, 30, appeared on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast this week and talked about various sexual exploits including losing his virginity at the age of 14. He also smoked indoors the whole time.
Fans seem especially mad about the way he characterized his relationship with his ex-girlfriend and Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart:
But personally, I was more disturbed by the way he described his first sexual experience. “I was 14 when I lost my virginity, so this is still the bowl-cut guy,” he said. “I was on a family trip in Florida, and I met this girl who was older, so that's already dubious. The first night we kind of made out, the second night—this makes me nervous, it's so cringey—I, like, knocked on her hotel door. I looked at her, and I was like, ‘So, are you like DTF?’ She goes, ‘What?’ And I go, ‘You know, down to fuck?’ I was 14."
He went on to reveal that the entire experience lasted “20 seconds.” Okay!
Cole is currently dating a 24-year-old French-Canadian model named Ari Fournier. He told Cooper it’s the best relationship he’s ever had. “The current relationship I'm in has woken me up to what real compatibility and trust looks like in a way that I have never had before,” he said. So that’s nice, I guess.
In other relationship news, Avril Lavigne and Tyga are officially an item, despite Mod Sun’s protests. They traveled to Paris for Fashion Week and were photographed making out outside the Mugler party. They were also spotted together at Leonardo DiCaprio’s private party at Kùkù restaurant on Wednesday. (DiCaprio never misses Paris Fashion Week if he can help it.)
According to a source who talked to People, “Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other. It's very new. It's very casual.” Another source told Us Weekly that “they had already built a foundation of friendship,” so “it was an organic transition to something more.”
They certainly know a lot of the same people. I’ll refer you to this TikTok mapping out their many overlapping connections, most of them involving the Kardashian-Jenner family:

Shawn Mendes, meanwhile, seems to be testing out a new PR relationship in the wake of reports that he is secretly dating his 51-year-old chiropractor. He has been spotted on a couple of “dates” with Sabrina Carpenter. You may know Carpenter as “that blonde girl” in Olivia Rodrigo’s song “Driver’s License.” (The two gals allegedly fought over Disney star Joshua Bassett, who is really into Christianity now.)
Mendes, 24, and Carpenter, 23, were spotted leaving Miley Cyrus’s album release party at the Beverly Hills Gucci store last night. According to Page Six, they did not show any PDA, but they did leave in the same car together.
My guess: Mendes’s team didn’t think the stories about his chiropractor sounded very good and threw him together with the closest blonde pop star available.
