Did anyone else Google “Jeremy Allen White dating?” after watching the first season of The Bear? If you did, you would have found that he was married to Addison Timlin, an actress he met as a teenager in a drama class. White, 32, and Timlin, 31, have been together for years and share two daughters, Ezer, 4, and Dolores, 2. They officially got married at a Beverly Hills courthouse in 2019, and they have often professed their love for each other in public ways.

When White won a Golden Globe for The Bear in January, he shouted out Timlin in his acceptance speech. “I love you deep in my bones,” he said. “Thank you for all that you do, thank you for everything that you've done.” Timlin, meanwhile, has often posted long, effusive messages about White on Instagram. After White won the Globe, she shared the following: 

“When we were 14 years old and I saw you perform for the first time in drama class, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. When we’d run your lines for Shameless I’d be so tickled knowing beforehand what everyone would get to witness the next day on set. When I watched the pilot for The Bear, I cried my fucking heart out. I think somewhere I must’ve known how much life was about to change, but mostly I just knew that the world was about to discover what I’ve known all along. What a privilege it’s been to know first. I love this picture so much because you look 14 and 31 at the same time- watching you win on Tuesday was one of the most overwhelming dimension hopping moments of my whole life, watching you win last night while holding our two babies was pretty out of this world too. Daddy winned another trophy winners cup. We’re so proud.”

These kinds of demonstrations are always a bit of a red flag for me. If you’ve got it like that, why do you need to tell everybody? Well. Timlin filed for divorce yesterday in California.

So far, none of the tabloids are reporting a reason for the split — it looks like TMZ hasn’t even gotten the official filing yet. But the timing is interesting: FX just announced that season two of The Bear will premiere June 22, which means White is probably gearing up to do a lot of press in the next month. Maybe Timlin wants him to have to talk about the divorce? I’m interested!

In happier relationship news, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have brought their public lovefest to New York. They already made their intentions clear in Nashville last weekend (see here), so I guess this is all really happening. The two were spotted holding hands walking into Casa Cipriani yesterday, and fans have disseminated this photographic evidence taken by a “Swiftie’s dad”:

According to TMZ, they joined their mutual friend Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley at the private club. A spy who talked to Page Six said Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, were “cuddling and kissing” on a “banquette in the lounge.” Okay! I have a feeling we’re going to get a lot more of this in the next month before Healy has to go back on tour with The 1975 in Europe.

Speaking of Brits, King Charles’s coronation last weekend was deathly boring, but I appreciated Meghan Markle doing a pap stroll in Montecito directly afterward while wearing Princess Diana’s $40,000 Cartier watch. Her whole outfit was really amazing: The hat, the scarf, the hiking boots. Does she have ankle weights on under her socks? It’s hard not to love her.

Also: Katy Perry did, indeed, perform at the coronation concert, and her (British) fiancé Orlando Bloom WAS NOT THERE. He was…in Japan for some reason? He posted about Perry’s performance on Instagram, but still. Code red.

STUFF BY HILARY DUFF: Hilary Duff went on the “Lipstick On the Rim” podcast with Molly Sims this week, and in it she revealed what she normally eats for breakfast. “I know Gwyneth’s in trouble for saying this, but sometimes I just try to drink coffee and starve [sic] off my hunger,” she said. While doing press for his new movie About My Father this week, De Niro revealed that his girlfriend Tiffany Chen recently gave birth to a little girl named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro. Congrats to the whole family.
