Joe Jonas and ... Stormi Bree?

Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: a divorced pop star debuts a new model girlfriend, a divorced actress finally takes to Instagram, and Aaron Rodgers starts something with Jimmy Kimmel (?).
It was only a matter of time before the extremely divorced Joe Jonas was photographed with a new model. His estranged wife, Sophie Turner, has already moved on with a member of the British nobility (Peregrine “Perry” John Dickinson Pearson). And Jonas’s last two girlfriends before Turner were models: Gigi Hadid and Blanda Eggenschwiler. (Yes, there was a time when the tabloids were constantly referring to one Blanda Eggenschwiler. No idea where she is now.)
So who is the new lucky gal? Stormi Bree! Another name I haven’t heard in years but am happy to revisit. Bree, 33, first rose to prominence in 2017 when she started dating Lucky Blue Smith, a teen boy model from a Mormon family with a bunch of inventive names (siblings include Pyper America, Daisy Clementine, and Starlie Cheyenne). Bree got pregnant, and it was kind of scandalous because Smith had only just turned 18. The couple then welcomed a girl, Gravity Blue Smith, and promptly broke up. I kind of forgot about Ms. Bree after that, but now she’s spending her New Year’s vacation with Jonas. Fun!
Photos of Bree and Jonas, 34, catching a private jet from Cabo to Aspen surfaced yesterday. Jonas was in Cabo to perform with his brothers on New Year’s Eve, and Bree has since posted on Instagram from both locations. “Joe is enjoying spending time with Stormi,” a source told Us Weekly. “His main priority and focus will always be his children, but at the same time, he’s putting himself out there and is open to what’s to come.”
Right right of course of course. The only other thing to know about Bree is that she started her career in pageants and was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 2009, making her the second contestant from the Miss USA franchise to date a Jonas brother. Nick Jonas dated Miss USA 2012 Olivia Culpo from 2013 to 2015. I’m sure they all have lots to discuss.
Speaking of divorce, actress/ACTIVIST Sophia Bush is finally addressing hers on Instagram. The 9,000 word caption we’ve all been waiting for is here! Happy New Year. I’ll reproduce it in full below, but first let’s recall what Bush is really talking about: her quickie divorce last summer from her husband of one year, Grant Hughes (not Hugh Grant), which may or may not have been caused by her affair with USWNT soccer star Ashlyn Harris.

What a year. My whole life I’ve heard the saying “put your own oxygen mask on first” and this year I learned what it meant. This past year humbled me, broke me, built me, betrayed me, freed me, and showed me what it means to really be alive. No more playing small. No more turning my back on myself. No more settling for what falls short because “who am I to ask for more?” This year put me back in my body. That brings you back from the edge. That gives you medicine. This year the pages of Maggie Smith’s book saved my life. This year I started writing again. Almost every day. I found my inner voice, and got quiet enough to listen to it. This year I slowed down; first because illness forced me to. Second because recovery required more stillness. In that way both sickness and healing are a gift. For those gifts I am so grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you to this life for teaching me. In happier relationship news, Selena Gomez remains obsessed with her perfect new boyfriend Benny Blanco, despite what the haters and losers say. The pop star and producer were photographed in public for the first time together this week sitting courtside at a Lakers game.
I’m guessing Gomez’s BFF Taylor Swift approves of the relationship, because her new boyfriend Travis Kelce “liked” one of the photos of Gomez and Blanco on Instagram. Swift and Kelce are also doing great, by the way:

Finally, I’ll leave you with the strange news that Aaron Rodgers is feuding with Jimmy Kimmel:
The injured quarterback and known conspiracy theorist suggested on The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN this week that Kimmel was an associate of Jeffrey Epstein’s, lol. Kimmel got mad and threatened court action. ABC/Disney got nervous, I’m guessing.
