Kaley Cuoco's second divorce oh no

Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: an actress gets divorced, a celebrity couple has cute and flirty chemistry, and Addison Rae reveals her favorite movie.
Well, it’s the Friday before a long weekend, which means it’s celebrity divorce announcement time. As of this writing, we have two brave souls who have chosen to share the news of their separation exclusively with People: Kaley Cuoco and her equestrian (read: tech heir) husband, Karl Cook. Cuoco, 35, and Cook, 30, celebrated their third wedding anniversary in June. (Perhaps Cuoco’s Instagram post noting the milestone was a tell.) Here’s what they have to say to us now:
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions. We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary. We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”
As divorce announcements go, this falls somewhere between the Chris Pratt/Anna Faris “we tried hard for a long time :(” statement in 2017 and the recent Kate Bosworth prose poem about how she loves her sexy husband so much she just has to divorce him. I don’t mind it! I think Cuoco will probably end up sharing additional details, however. She did a whole Cosmo cover about what went wrong in her first marriage (to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting).
In the meantime, the tabloids have started to speculate about what led to the Cuoco-Cook split. While the two shared an abiding love of horses and rescue dogs and having lots of money, it seems that wasn’t enough to hold them together in the end. Radar notes that Cuoco just wrapped on a film with Pete Davidson, 27 — apparently the two got “cozy” on set in New York. I think that’s probably a reach, but Davidson did recently break up with his latest brunette girlfriend, Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor. Stay tuned!
In happier relationship news, Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz seem to be obsessed with each other. They were photographed together several times over the last two weeks in New York, most recently at La Superior in Williamsburg. According to People, Tatum, 41, and Kravitz, 32, are “inseparable” and have a “cute and flirty chemistry.”
Another source told Entertainment Tonight that the new couple has “enjoyed being out and about together,” which seems true.
Also enjoying time out and about together: Adele and sports agent Rich Paul. (Remember when he dated Jen Meyer for like five minutes?) Anyway, Paul, 40, and Adele, 33, were photographed attending Lebron James’s wife’s birthday party together in West Hollywood this week. A source told People that “Adele seems very happy” in this new relationship, and that “they are acting like they are getting more serious,” which is an interesting way to phrase that, but whatever.
Speaking of interesting phrases, here’s what’s new with Priyanka Chopra and her husband of two and a half years, Nick Jonas:
