Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. at the Super Bowl?

Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: another football romance hits the tabloids, a pop star and his model wife hit the skids, and Meghan Markle hits the town in her Range Rover.
Taylor Swift is going to the Super Bowl — this we know. She will be cruising in that private jet of hers from Tokyo to Vegas on Sunday and sitting in a box with any number of her close personal squad members. If (when?) the Chiefs win, she will run on the field and chastely kiss her beloved, Travis Kelce. All eyes and cameras will be on her, unless her longtime nemesis manages to steal focus, which would be so much fun.
I’m referring, of course, to Kim Kardashian, who has been on the outs with Swift since Swift lied about a phone call with Kanye West back in 2016 and Kardashian revealed the evidence on Snapchat. Kardashian and West were still together then; West had yet to really go off the rails; Obama was still president. It was, as they say, a simpler time. What’s up now? Well, Swift is still pissed about all of that: She brought up the whole ordeal and namechecked Kardashian in an interview with Time in December. Unfortunately, Swift may have to look at Kardashian’s face in a neighboring VIP suite at the game on Sunday. And Kardashian may even bring her own famous football player boyfriend!
Kardashian is more than likely going to the Super Bowl: She officially announced Usher as the halftime performer back in September and has continued to support him by making him the face of her latest Skims mens campaign. She could conceivably sit with Swift’s other longtime nemesis Scooter Braun (Usher is one of Braun’s few remaining A-list clients). And/or: She could sit with her rumored new BF Odell Beckham Jr.
TMZ first floated the idea that Kardashian, 43, and OBJ, 31, were dating back at the start of the NFL season, but Kardashian never commented on the report or showed up to any of OBJ’s games (he’s a wide receiver for the Ravens and lost to the Chiefs in the AFC championship game two weeks ago). But now, during the week of the Super Bowl, all of the tabloids are suddenly in agreement that Kardashian and OBJ are for real. Us Weekly reports that “they’re getting serious” and “trying to figure out next steps” in their relationship. Entertainment Tonight claims, “Things have been continuing to heat up between Kim and Odell. They like each other and have a good thing going.”
Is there any real evidence these two are dating? Kind of yeah: According to Us Weekly, they drove to Jay Z’s pre-Grammys party at the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood last weekend together and switched to separate cars just before arriving. Kardashian then walked into the event with her sister, Khloé Kardshian. (Khloé and OBJ were incidentally spotted canoodling at a party back in 2016, but we don’t even have time to get into that.)
ET and People both noted in their reports that OBJ likes to “keep a low profile,” so it’s possible he will skip the Super Bowl altogether. Kardashian could easily go with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who are close with Justin Bieber, who may or may not make an appearance during Usher’s performance. Whatever happens, Swift will have to watch.
Speaking of Bieber: He and his wife Hailey Bieber are totally fine, not that you asked. Us Weekly reports this week that the married couple is in a “good place” after navigating “growing pains” in their relationship. Oh?
“Communication is key, and they’ve found that continuing therapy even when everything’s great is useful,” a source revealed, apropos of nothing, to the tabloid. “Whether it’s a night on the town or ordering takeout, quality time is essential.”

As you probably read, Buckingham Palace revealed on Monday that King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. We don’t know how serious it is, but Prince Harry flew to London for 24 hours this week to see his dad before heading to Vegas to randomly present an award at the NFL Honors ceremony. Does that mean H and M will be at the Super Bowl, too? Heaven help us.

I thought she was telling the truth and Kim doctored the audio? Or that Taylor consented to being in the song but not her portrayal in the video and being called “that bitch”? Clear it up for us once and for all, Allie!
