The news broke Friday afternoon: Natalie Portman and her ballet dancer husband Benjamin Millepied are “fighting for their marriage” after Millepied’s “enormous mistake.” That “enormous mistake,” per People and Page Six, was an affair with a 25-year-old French climate activist named Camille Étienne. Zut alors! Somewhere, Jonathan Safran Foer is rewriting a “just checking in” email for the 15th time.
