Love is in the air this week, especially for Penn Badgley. The 36-year-old star of Gossip Girl and You has been talking recently about his desire to stop doing sex scenes in his work in order to honor his wife. Cute? Or suspect? Let’s discuss. 

This all started last weekend, when Badgley released an episode of his new-ish podcast, Podcrushed, about the new season of You. (Does every actor need a podcast now? Apparently so.) In the episode, one of his co-hosts prompted him to talk about the reduced number of sex scenes in this season, and he readily obliged.
