If a celebrity couple puts their $7.5 million home on the market, does that mean they’re getting a divorce? Fans of the actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson sure hope so.
This week, rumors that Aaron, 30, and his director wife Sam Taylor-Johnson, 54, are divorcing came out fast and furious on Twitter. The story hasn’t been substantiated by any of the tabloids — it seems to be a reaction to a report that the couple is selling their Hollywood Hills home. (It’s a 5,500 square-foot Mediterranean villa they bought in 2013.)
Sometimes, a home sale can mean a breakup (see: Jennifer Aniston showing off her Bel-Air property in Architectural Digest, just a few weeks before announcing her split from Justin Theroux). But in this case, I think the Taylor-Johnsons are probably just moving.
If you’re unfamiliar with this couple’s love story, here are the basics: They got together in 2008, when Sam was in the midst of a divorce and Aaron was 18. (They met at Aaron’s audition for Sam’s feature debut, Nowhere Boy.) Despite this unconventional beginning, their relationship has been seemingly stable and low-drama for the last 12 years: They have two daughters together and got married in 2012. Sam and Aaron have spoken lovingly about each other in recent interviews, and Sam just posted a photo of Aaron on Instagram two weeks ago, in which his chest tattoo of her name is visible. What do you think is going on with them, if anything?
Also (allegedly) on the rocks: Katie Holmes and her restaurateur boyfriend Emilio Vitolo Jr. After nine beautiful, pap-stroll-filled months, Page Six reports that the New York couple’s relationship is “cooling off.”
“Katie has a lot of big priorities in her life — she’s a single mom, her daughter always comes first and things were moving very fast,” a source told the gossip outlet. Another source confirmed to Us Weekly that Holmes and Vitolo have “pumped the brakes.”
“They’ve agreed to give each other space,” said the source. “They both have a lot of commitments piling up.”
What kind of commitments? Well, Vitolo is running Emilio’s Ballato, same as always. And Holmes was spotted this week doing a staged paparazzi ad for a new kind of high-protein yogurt by General Mills. She did a great job:
In somewhat more hopeful romantic news, it looks like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are not quite over, even though they announced their breakup to the Today show earlier this month. Page Six reports that the two had dinner together this week at the Hotel Bel-Air, which happens to be the site of their first date. “There still seemed to be love and respect there,” an eyewitness said of the meeting, which, okay. We’ll have to take their word for it.
People reports that the exes scheduled the dinner to "talk business and how to move forward in a friendly way.” According to a source, Rodriguez wants to get back together, and Lopez does not. It seems clear at this point that A-Rod was the one to fuck things up, right?
I have to admit that I clicked on this Just Jared headline:
Unfortunately, the story doesn’t really deliver. A source told the outlet that Davidson is “serious” about the Bridgerton star, but they did not reveal how serious. So, they got me. Either way, it looks like Davidson and Dynevor are enjoying themselves — they were photographed together for the first time this week in Manchester, where Dynevor is currently living.
This is the second time Davidson has visited Dynevor in the U.K. (The first visit was memorably reported on by a local teen gossip hound named Tilly Wagg.) People reports that the two are “really into each other,” which seems apparent.

I have such mixed feelings on the Taylor-Johnsons! She always seemed like an interesting multi-talent, and they're obviously super hot for each other, but 18, eep! That still feels like a kid to me. But then they seem so normie! My assumptions are being challenged.
