Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: a pop star is happy, another pop star is sad, and Kylie Jenner is wearing a crop top (you know what that means).
Selena Gomez has been dating her perfect boyfriend Benny Blanco for nearly a year now, if you can believe it. So Us Weekly is right on time with this exclusive report:
According to a source, Gomez, 31, “definitely sees this relationship going the distance. They’ve talked about marriage and having children and are very much on the same page.”
As for what Gomez likes about Blanco, a 36-year-old music producer and professional foodie, well — it’s obvious. “He makes Selena laugh,” the source added. “He makes her feel secure and happy. They both think they’ve found the person they’ll be with forever.”
Gomez has been regularly updating her followers on her feelings for Blanco for months, so this is not exactly a surprise. Back in December, she even argued with fans about it on Instagram (“then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end”). She also posted these photos, celebrating Blanco’s new cookbook, this week:

As for Blanco, he seems to be enjoying the spotlight this relationship has afforded him, especially as he launches said cookbook. He was on the Today show yesterday, and he did an Architectural Digest house tour, which you can see here. His Los Angeles home looks just fine, save for the stuffed animal collection in the living room.
He also revealed Gomez’s drink of choice during the tour: “vodka, ginger beer, and lime.” So…a Moscow mule.
The clock is now ticking for Blanco to propose. And why wouldn’t he? I’m sure everything will work out perfectly.
Gomez’s most famous ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, meanwhile, is not quite so happy. Maybe it’s some spring ennui, maybe we haven’t been praying for him hard enough. The fact is, he’s crying:
Bieber, 30, posted the above photos on Instagram this week, alongside old photos of himself on stage and a close-up image of weed. Bieber’s steadfast wife, Hailey Bieber, commented, “a pretty crier 🥲” What does it mean?
According to a source who talked to Entertainment Tonight, “Justin has been facing some difficulties lately. He has been having a hard time and hasn't been feeling like his usual self.”
A familiar tale, unfortunately. And one that may be starting to wear on Hailey: According to ET’s source, “Hailey has been doing her best to be there for Justin, but it is upsetting for her to see him struggle. They are doing their best to make things work and be supportive of each other. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to make things better.”
For now, the two are vacationing in Kauai, which sounds nice. But Divorce Watch continues.
Thank God: Kylie Jenner’s abs remain intact. The Daily Mail got eyes on them this week when Jenner, 26, did a purposeful pap stroll into Sushi Park in L.A. with her sister, Kendall Jenner. (For more on the lure of this unlikely celeb hotspot, see my post with

Kylie wore a crop top, which is important because last week, various Twitter accounts with “pop” in their handles reported that she was pregnant with Timothée Chalamet’s baby. As you can see, she still looks like a sentient Bratz doll, so that’s impossible. She also probably ate RAW FISH at dinner, something you legally cannot do while pregnant.
What is possible is that Jenner and Chalamet, 28, attend the Met Gala together on Monday. Chalamet hasn’t attended since he was part of the host committee in 2021, but Jenner pretty much always goes, and last year she wore a gown by Haider Ackermann, who happens to be a close personal friend of Chalamet. We’ll see!
STUFF BY HILARY DUFF: Please do not ask the very pregnant Hilary Duff if she’s had her baby yet. It’s not polite!!!!!!
