Hello and welcome to Gossip Time, a weekly guide to the stars by Allie Jones. This week: Adam Levine tried to name his baby after his mistress, Olivia Wilde tried to salvage her relationship with Harry Styles, and Brad Pitt tried to get excited about his own skincare line.
Adam Levine is not a complicated person. He likes models, whether they are walking the runway for Victoria’s Secret or posing in bikinis on Instagram. If you didn’t know that previously, you probably found out this week when a 23-year-old Instagram model named Sumner Stroh claimed on TikTok that she had an affair with Levine, and that he asked if he could name his unborn baby after her (if it was a boy).
Levine, 43, is married, you see. And his wife, the former Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, 34, is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child. They are already parents to daughters Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. Does Sumner fit with those names? Maybe that’s beside the point.
Since Stroh made her claims, Levine has commented exactly once, on Instagram. He denied having an affair but sort of apologized for sending flirty messages to other women using his verified Instagram account. Since then, at least four more women have come forward to reveal messages they allegedly received from the Maroon 5 frontman, which range from funny (“that body of yours is absurd,” “I may need to see the booty”) to benign (“Leg day. The most important and the easiest to skip”).
A source told People that Prinsloo is “hurt and upset” by the scandal. “She isn't happy with Adam, but she is very much about being positive,” the source added. “She just doesn't believe in drama. Adam keeps being very apologetic. He puts no blame on her and admits that he enjoyed the attention. He'll be the first one to say that he acted like a moron.”
Perhaps this moron behavior was somewhat expected. Levine and Prinsloo had an interesting road to the altar: They started dating in 2012, right after Levine broke up with Prinsloo’s Victoria’s Secret co-worker Anne V. Prinsloo and Levine then broke up sometime in 2013, Levine started dating Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal (who later dated Leonardo DiCaprio), and then, in a surprise twist, Levine reportedly dumped Agdal via text, got back together with Prinsloo, and proposed. The two got married at a resort in Cabo in 2014 in a ceremony officiated by Jonah Hill, for some reason. Not one year after their wedding, sources complained to the tabloids that Levine was still hanging out with other models and “acting like the same playboy he was before they wed.”
Levine hasn’t been shy about his desire to sleep with a lot of women. In 2009, he told Cosmopolitan he didn’t believe in monogamy, and in 2012, he told Details that he slept around because he thinks women are amazing and he loves them.
“There's two kinds of men: There are men who are fucking misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me,” he said. “Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.”
Can you blame him? Someone simply needs to introduce this man to Signal.
In happier relationship news, Olivia Wilde is still dating Harry Styles…for now. The 38-year-old embattled director was spotted rocking out at the 28-year-old pop star’s final concert at the Garden on Wednesday night wearing what looked to be a sexy wedding dress. An intrepid TikTok reporter published this footage of Ms. Wilde dancing with wild abandon:

If only she could have brought that kind of fancy-free attitude to the press tour for Don’t Worry Darling. Instead, it was all, feminism is my life, gossip is murder, etc. Thankfully, the movie is out now — I saw it last night and won’t spoil anything but oh boy — so Wilde and Styles can retreat from the public eye and peacefully leak their breakup announcement sometime next month.
Another director-muse couple that’s still dating: Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum. The pair got together sometime last year after Kravitz cast Tatum in her directorial debut Pussy Island, and they appear to be going strong: They were photographed holding hands and wearing matching outfits in New York this week.
“Channing is serious about Zoë,” a source told People. “It's not a casual relationship. They have been exclusive for a long time.” Hopefully they can keep this up until their movie is released sometime next year.
STUFF BY HILARY DUFF: Hilary Duff made the Daily Mail FOUR TIMES this week: Once for going to brunch with her husband, once for taking her kids to get frozen yogurt, once for wearing a bikini on a girls trip, and once for wearing sweatpants. This gal never stops working.
Finally, I’ll leave you with the news that Brad Pitt, 58, has a “genderless” skincare line now, even though he seems to disdain the idea of employing a skincare routine:
Pitt announced the line exclusively in Vogue and credited his ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow with teaching him to wash his face twice a day. The line is made up of a $350 serum and a $275 cream that were formulated using grapes from his precious Chateau Miraval winery. Those attorney bills must be getting expensive.

Jonah Hill’s brother was Maroon 5’s manager until he passed away a few years ago. Hence that connection.
