I need for Bennifer to stay together. I need it. I was devastated 22 years ago when they broke up, thrilled when they reunited. I can’t go through this again. That said, the whole This is Me…Now thing was a total cringe debacle. I am still so embarrassed for her. This is what happens when famous people are surrounded by too many yes people.
Joe comes off looking quite bad in the article even with Sophie clearly being polite and tactful, I also think her point about "the wives" is so cogent, women are more than plus ones!
I think the album, movie and documentary were the beginning of the end. Her obsession with herself (as if he didn't already know, but the collective must have been something to see) PLUS her giving his private love letters to the songwriters? Horrible.
I can believe the culture shock of suburban anywhere, let alone Florida, for a young Brit with two kids must have been something. I'll bet if they had stayed in NYC or LA it would have taken a bit longer to get out.
Bennifer breaking up would be a true pop culture tragedy.
I will be reading Sophie Turner's interview immediately, thank you for sharing (the mum in me is concerned about how her children will feel when they're grown and see all the mud slinging their parents have done over their break up, the rest of me just wants to know absolutely everything at any cost. That part of me wins today.)
How in the world could anyone have felt this would be different? This guy is no different than he was before, just bounced back to his most likely nice woman who would take him in after he and garner split.
