I will for sure watch the Meghan show. It isn't really a kind of show I'm normally super interested in, but I want it to do well because the haters she has are so vile.

I’m a huge ZendayaTomHolland girly so my shock and happiness and immediate what she will be wearing fantasyland has been in full force. I wanna talk about Callum Turner & Dua Lipas engagement? I audibly gasped when I heard about Kaia and Austin. Eyebrow raise at Zoe & Austin? RIP her and Channing I am just now getting over it. Not mentioning Selena Gomez and Benny is hilarious! Happy to be alive in the golden age of movie star marriages.
I’ll watch the Meghan thing. For sure. I’m curious and I have always loved her style. As a Brit my issue lies with Harry (who we have continually babysat for 40 years while he makes the somewhat typical mistakes for the “spare”). Believe it or not the press (especially pre-2020-ish) try to stay on the Royals good side. They'd only really print "bad" stories when they're so big it'd be seen as biased by the public if they didn't - eg: the Harry in Vegas story was spreading online, same with his Nazi outfit). Ask *anyone* who lived in West London while Harry was in his teens and twenties and they have 20+ well founded stories about the guy. He *was* looked after. Meghan always wanted to make it big. Ask any Londoner with an ounce of connection to the entertainment industry; there are upteen examples of this Pre-Harry. I feel for her, whoever did her publicity got her "in" with some questionable people. So, why should she smack a gift horse in the mouth? She 100% should go for it. Where I get a little confused is… they chose to leave the royal family. But they use the titles. Or at least, just use their first names. Politely… Meghan is not Cher. I also found their continual need for “statements” around world events, even the LA fires, bizarre. Who cares!
I agree with ALL of this- especially about the majority of the issues being with Harry. He rushed that relationship *incredibly* fast and absolutely did not prepare Meghan adequately for life in the royal family. He's put his mother on such a pedestal that he can't see her as a human being who courted the press almost as much as she reviled it. Regardless of all of the instances of the press protecting him he will always see himself as a victim.
As far as Meghan herself, I might watch her show, but probably not. It seems to me that she's taken some bad advice over the years and/or not thought things through before launching her latest project. I think back to her time when she was a full time royal and it was a lot of the same- launch/support an interesting/meaningful project and then...crickets. The cookbook written with the survivors of the Greenfell Tower fire and her Smart Works capsule collection were both fantastic ideas that played to her strengths. Those could have/should have been long-term projects, but they kind of petered out, and I think that's sad. All that being said, she should make money while she can, so more power to her.
How can those projects continue when she had to give up being patron for smartworks etc? Did you want a volume 2 of the cook book? The cook book is still available to purchase and proceeds continue to help the people of grenfell. Not sure what you people want from her but she can only do so much. You lot don’t get to dictate how long two people should date/court before getting married. It’s all so silly. At the end of the day, it all boils down to the fact that if harry had married a woman who was not biracial or American, then you would have continued to “look after him.”
She is a still a patron of Smart Works, according to their website.My point is that she has a platform to continue to talk about AND work with those charities- she doesn't need anyone's permission to do so.
As far as "dictating" relationship timelines, I'm simply saying she went through massive life-changing upheavals in a very short amount of time and it would be incredibly stressful for anyone. Meghan had added pressure on her to adjust to a brand new way of life, and I don't think Harry prepared her adequately, and it was his responsibility to do so.
The comments on the Meghan Markle video are BONKERS. It's all weird hateful anti-Meghan people that really should have something better to do with their time by now.
This gossip was a good distraction from a week of watching my friends' homes burn down and businesses lose it all. If anyone can donate, my friend's family lost two homes in the Eaton fire. I just wish/hope/pray that the Tom&Zendaya wedding will be broadcast to us like Sophia Richie’s. Ie someone like me who don’t have insta or tiktok was still able to gobble up all the content.
I know its old news now but I am so sad about Channing and Zoe. I thought they were enviously cool. I'm even more sad to admit that I will be watching Meghan's little lady side-hustle and I guarantee I end up liking her more after it, much to the rest of the world's dismay
